Due to my profession, I have lived since 1991 in several countries, namely in Bulgaria, Pakistan, Botswana, South Africa, Jordan, Uganda and Norway. I travelled almost 60 countries and have a profound love for South Asia and Scandinavia.

Early I developed a love for photography. Thanks to my profession, I have the opportunity to travel a lot and thus have access to local communities and people in their natural surrounding around the world. Portraits and people photography is clearly what I like most. But I also enjoy taking images of breathtaking landscapes, architecture, perspectives, especially in black and white. During my many years in Africa, I did not miss any opportunity to study the life and behaviour of African animals and was blessed with interesting encounters.

In 2015, I was the winner of the photo contest "Travel" at the German "Digital Photo" Magazine with the picture "The Flutist".
